Theo Clarke MP launches 'Get Stafford Reading' campaign

I have always been passionate about reading. Reading cultivates the imagination and improves mental health by creating a bubble of personal creativity. This is why I launched the 'Get Stafford Reading' campaign in 2022. Partnering with Harper Collins, I have arranged for hundreds of books to be delivered to local schools. I hope these books have inspired - and will continue to inspire - children to fall in love with reading.

'Get Stafford Reading' campaign 2024 launched

Stafford MP Theo Clarke has launched her Get Stafford Reading campaign ahead of World Book Day next month and has secured 50 new books for each primary school to kick off the initiative. Publisher Harper Collins has agreed to supply the books after Mrs Clarke approached the company.  She

Theo Clarke MP launches campaign to get children reading

At St Paul’s CE Primary School, Theo Clarke MP for Stafford recently launched her campaign to boost reading amongst local Primary aged children in Stafford. During the visit, Ms Clarke led an assembly with pupils and read to the children. Ms Clarke also distributed 100 free books to the school.
