Theo Clarke MP for Stafford took part in the Commonwealth Service to celebrate the special family of nations that is made up through the Commonwealth. This service, held at Westminster Abbey, honours the people and cultures of the 54 Commonwealth nations. Ms Clarke was proud to join members of the Royal Family and the Prime Minister, The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP, at this year’s Commonwealth Service.
On Commonwealth Day, Ms Clarke also had a meeting with Nigel Huddleston MP, Minister for Sport, Tourism, Heritage and Civil Society. This meeting was to discuss this Summer’s Commonwealth Games with the Minister, ahead of the mountain biking event taking place in Staffordshire. The 2022 Commonwealth Games will bring together people and communities from across the West Midlands and the Commonwealth.
