Theo Clarke MP has backed Staffordshire County Council’s campaign iCare asking residents to consider becoming carers during the COVID-19 outbreak. She called on local residents to step up to keep vulnerable people safe and well.
Theo said, “Thousands of vulnerable residents in Staffordshire rely on personal care in their homes, and this demand will only increase as the Covid-19 pandemic continues across the country.”
She also met with NHS staff and volunteers at a First Aid training course in Stafford to learn more about what resources are needed from the Government to support our local care homes at this difficult time.
