Theo Clarke MP for Stafford, as Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Trade out of Poverty chaired the roundtable which was joined by Secretary of State for International Trade and Minister for Women and Equalities, The Rt Hon Elizabeth Truss MP. Parliamentarians discussed tackling barriers women face in trade, deepening trading relationships with developing countries, prioritising women’s economic empowerment in the UKs Free Trade Agreements and how free and fair trade will benefit women around the globe.
