Following her meeting last month with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, Theo Clarke MP for Stafford welcomes that Staffordshire is going to receive over £1.5 million of Government funding from the Community Renewal Fund. This funding will back Staffordshire businesses, increase sustainability and green energy as well as helping to level up Stafford.
Through the Community Renewal Fund, the Government is backing 477 locally-led, innovative projects that will help breathe new life into towns and villages across the UK. The successful projects in Staffordshire include the Carbon Reduction and Sustainable Energy Creation Programme, the Innovation and Productivity Pathfinder and Staffordshire Means Back to Business. Ms Clarke will continue to stand up for the Staffordshire community both locally and in Parliament.
