Theo Clarke MP for Stafford was honoured to lay wreaths on Remembrance Sunday at the Borough and County Memorials in Stafford. Ms Clarke thanks everyone who serves in the armed forces in particular those at MOD Stafford for all that they do. Following the service and the laying of the wreaths, local servicemen and women took part in a parade through Stafford town centre. The parade included Members of the town’s 22 and 16 Signal Regiment, and Tactical Supply Wing of the RAF, as well as representatives from The Royal British Legion, Staffordshire Corps of Drums, scouts, and local cadets. Ms Clarke will always stand up for the armed forces and veterans both locally and in Parliament.
Ms Clarke also planted a cross on behalf of Stafford residents at the Constituency Garden of Remembrance in the Palace of Westminster to remember the extraordinary service of the British and Commonwealth Armed Forces. This year Parliament marked over a century of Remembrance with the Constituency Garden of Remembrance in New Palace Yard to honour those who have lost their lives in conflict.
