As chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on international conservation, Theo Clarke MP for Stafford was delighted to see the work being done by students to prepare themselves for careers in conservation. Students Rodbaston College work across a number of diverse habitats including woodland, wetland, grassland, ponds, lakes, canal, formal gardens and farmed areas for students to develop their practical skills. Students also spend time learning in the Animal Zone at Rodbaston College which is home to around 600 animals from over 140 different species providing students with diverse experiences and training.
Ms Clarke was pleased to see the numerous opportunities offered to students studying at Rodbaston College in both the Animal Zone and Equine facilities. Ms Clarke also met with the Chief Executive Principal, Claire Boliver to discuss how students can best apply the practical skills they have learnt in the workplace once they have completed their studies at Rodbaston College.
