Stafford MP Theo Clarke was delighted today to meet with local farmers. Hosted by the National Farmers Union, Ms Clarke visited a local farm, once again seeing first-hand how a modern farm works, before adopting a 'hands-on' approach by milking a cow. She then discussed pressing issues facing farmers over a working breakfast, including farmers not being paid a fair price for their produce, the continuing effects of HS2 Ltd compulsorily purchasing farmland, and the need to ensure food security in the UK.
