Theo Clarke MP for Stafford congratulated MOD Stafford on their work highlighting the need to talk more openly about mental health and Ms Clarke was honoured to present medals to children from local military families. Over 50 children were presented with medals after they finished an activity book which was designed to support their mental health. The activity book covers matters highlighted by families at the military base and includes photos and drawings produced by Army families with characters based on some of the families at MOD Stafford.
Ms Clarke is pleased to be working with Captain Kennaugh as part of the Stafford Mental Health Network which she founded with the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust last year. Ms Clarke will continue to raise mental health support for those serving in the Armed Forces, veterans and their families both locally and in Parliament.
