Theo Clarke MP for Stafford was pleased to celebrate World Book Day and welcomes that students in Staffordshire will be receiving book tokens. Ms Clarke has seen first-hand the positive impact that reading has on children’s mental health and education, she therefore, encourages every child in Stafford to choose their own new book for World Book Day.
Across Staffordshire, libraries have been working with local schools to mark World Book Day, by promoting reading for pleasure and offering the opportunity for children to pick up a book token which can be exchanged for a free book. Ms Clarke will continue to support schools across Staffordshire and encourage children of all ages to get involved in reading.
