I have always been opposed to HS2. This is why I had meetings with Ministers even before being elected in 2019. I raised KS2 regularly in Parliament, culminating in successfully holding a debate on compensation for residents affected by the now-cancelled HS2 Phase 2 in January 2024.

If re-elected, I will continue to campaign for fair compensation for residents.
